Here's what we did in 2020 on Berm Peak

Was 2020 that bad? Really? Yeah, it was pretty rough actually. But some of you started riding bikes in 2020, got really good at it, or had a really great year in some other way. For better or worse, here's what happened here on Berm Peak in 2020. Happy New Year everyone!

I wish I had known the park had not opened yet. I spent an hour trying to find it. Google maps thinks it's in someone's driveway, and all the articles discussing how great it is (or oder ones that say it will be) fail to mention it's not open yet. Eventually found the roadside entrance to Chestnut Park and it's all roped off with no trespassing signs. I would have loved a ride with my kid's, it was a perfect day. Half a days potential riding lost.

Seth, 22 years ago I was t-boned on my Harley. I had a non-union ankle injury and fracture of the tibia and fibula. Used a fixator for about 18 months. My toes curled also, but had the tendons on the bottom of the toes severed they straightened out and I walked fairly normally. About 6 years ago I had an artificial ankle installed. Since then I'm on my bike for 5 days a week and now resuming mountain biking.

Hi Seth, I sympathize with you on your injury. I had double foot surgery 3 years ago and have life long complications as a result. I can walk find but have troubles for extended periods. Thankfully cycling is one of the only outdoor things I can still do without much pain and that’s what led me to your channel quite some time ago - and your tips videos helped me gain courage to buy an entry level MTB and get rolling. Hope you can start to find relief from your injuries soon and happy riding my friend.
