I think you totally missed the purpose of the hand guards. I really could have used them on my bike two years ago when I lost control of my bike and my left hand hit a tree while I was still holding the handle bars. I broke two of my knuckles. The doctor told me it was a "boxers fracture". Hand guards would have been really nice that day!

What if he made a tree house. it could be a ride through tree house, perhaps a new addition to the berm peak express? a ramp up, ramp down, and a area in the treehouse with a table for a rest stop. keep some water or snacks in there, if a rider is tired or they need more water they can stop in there, kinda like a drive thru lol. My biggest concern with a metal bleed cup is cross threading. If you're careful, no big deal, but if you screw it up, I'd rather trash a bleed cup than my lever. Looks super fancy though

A pretty solid handlebar trick is to just take the front wheel off, and put the bike forward down onto a table or some other properly flat surface, obviously with the stem loose. Then the bars will definitely be straight, make sure to use two surfaces that are flat to each-other (brake levers to fork dropouts or even the stem faceplate).

Long time ago I've bought some light-duty MX/Enduro handguards - Zeta Racing Impact (Japan). I see they are still making them. In the end I used heavier-duty wrap-around guards on my enduro motorbike, and those were just collecting dust on the shelf. A couple years later I was riding my mountain bike in Moscow parks/forests during a particularly cold winter (down to -25C / -13F) and installed them for wind protection. Combined with heavy snowboarding gloves, I still have all of my fingers functional.

How fast do downhill bike go on avarrage? Because I had idea of making a foam board, flite test style wing behind the rear wheels to stabilize the bike in the air to help prevent nose dives. The turbulence behind the rider would be terrible so it would have to almost wider than the bars and you would need a fairly high airspeed. It wouldn't act like a wing as such, I imagine it staling and creating a lot of drag behind the center of gravity at high angels of attack ( if the bike is nosediving or pointing to far up ) pulling the bike back, parallel the the trajectory. Keep in mind I am not a MTBer and I got this idea from tapping a 2,5 m wing from an rc Cessna to the back of a 50cc scooter as a joke.

Many of us know sampler, bk, and Phil, but I’m sure there are fav episodes or other vids you could recommend. A vid like that with your editing would be entertaining I think.

That bar alignment thing is weird. If you use a single crown then just turn the forks backward and use the gap in the back of the stem as a sighting point with the center of the tyre or a small bolt in the arch (if the fork allows). Works just fine for me.
